Do you know how she began writing grants? In response to your question, she began writing grants by writing for a local church’s pastor, who requested her assistance in writing a grant for them; needless to say, she was successful in getting the grant right away. She was soon faced with the challenge of caring for her sick child, which made it hard to work outside the home. To be more flexible, she decided to freelance.
Despite personal circumstances, Janene held her first grant writing seminar in 2004 in Fayetteville, NC, with 75 attendees. She set up her first grant writing seminar in 2004. Janene graduated Summa Cum Laude from Strayer University in 2008 with a degree in Computer Science.

Her well-rounded experience in research, government grants, and private entities allows her to be an asset to any organization with fundraising needs.
Her grant writing skills have enabled her to write grants for churches, daycares, community organizations, sports teams, health programs, municipal governments, and other special funding initiatives. “There are no grants too small, but there are grants you don’t apply for at all.” She is known for coining that phrase.
Janene has written grants for over 200 organizations and teaches a series of webinars that cater to non-profits and will continue to help these organizations serving in their communities.
Janene is now married to Charles Dublin, Jr and boasts a blended family of 8 adult children and seven grandchildren.
